I don't see any need to get the adjustable plate unless someone else who is a lot taller or shorter than you will drive your boat. Otherwise, you just screw down the pedal in the right spot for you and forget about it.

I've wondered about this for a while. When jump starting from a trolling motor battery do you have to disconnect the trolling motor battery from the other trolling motor battery in the series? Will it only deliver 12 volts as long as you only use the terminals of the same battery?

Wow that is a very strange law! I wonder why federal law doesn't override state law based on the regulation of interstate commerce. So lets say a barge from a neighboring state wants to pass through Louisiana, but can't because a landowner won't allow it. Very strange!

I'd be real surprised if you can get a loan on a used boat at 3%. New boat, yeah, but for used you're probably looking at 6 to 9% You might check Golden 1 if you haven't already. They were the best for me a couple of years ago, but nowhere near 3%.

I definitely don't think you need a tandem axle for that size boat. Might tow a little better but harder to move around and also more costly in upkeep (i.e. tires and bearings). Kind of a wash in the end.

Battery Systems in West Sacramento has always had the best prices in the Sacramento area whenever I've needed starting or deep cycle batteries. Check out the price and specs on the totally sealed Centennial batteries that they carry.

+1 on Centennial batteries at Battery Systems in West Sac. I've outfitted several boats over the last few years and their deep cycle fully sealed batteries were always the best on both price and features.

I have the topwater and spinnerbait rods and I like them a lot. I heard that when they first came out there was a problem with the guide on the tip but they've been fixed. A buddy of mine has several of the reels and had the problem of noise described above.
