First, I don't know why this thread hasn't been moved to the Politics forum long ago. Second, those who claim that human caused climate change is unsettled science are either 1. seriously misinformed, or 2. lying. As a scientist myself I have read the journal articles and talked to several climate s...

I don't see any need to get the adjustable plate unless someone else who is a lot taller or shorter than you will drive your boat. Otherwise, you just screw down the pedal in the right spot for you and forget about it.

Re: Portable jump for crank battery
I've wondered about this for a while. When jump starting from a trolling motor battery do you have to disconnect the trolling motor battery from the other trolling motor battery in the series? Will it only deliver 12 volts as long as you only use the terminals of the same battery?

I have the Ulterra for on my deck boat. I got it primarily because of the GPS enabled features: spot lock, advanced autopilot and I-pilot Link. The auto stow/deploy is great, as is the ability to raise and lower the depth of the motor with a touch of a button. However, I will say that the electric s...

To me it says "greater than .75", under 1.75oz." is not okay, but "under .75" and under 1.75oz. would be ok. I may be wrong, but the sentence is saying that to be illegal, it would have to be all three, bigger than .75", under 1.75oz., and more than 0.1 percent lead. I...

Wow that is a very strange law! I wonder why federal law doesn't override state law based on the regulation of interstate commerce. So lets say a barge from a neighboring state wants to pass through Louisiana, but can't because a landowner won't allow it. Very strange!

I have the Ulterra and love the I-pilot features. Automatic stow and deploy and the ability to adjust the height of the motor remotely is really cool as well. I'd be real surprised if you can get a loan on a used boat at 3%. New boat, yeah, but for used you're probably looking at 6 to 9% You might check Golden 1 if you haven't already. They were the best for me a couple of years ago, but nowhere near 3%.

I definitely don't think you need a tandem axle for that size boat. Might tow a little better but harder to move around and also more costly in upkeep (i.e. tires and bearings). Kind of a wash in the end.

Flipping and pitching cover will be frustrating with an electric steer. On the other hand, the spot lock feature is totally awesome and now...
