When i used to live on B.I. i would see them fly across Bethel Island rd once in a while, heading towards Oakley ,Jersey island direction.

Fall is in the air . Windy yesterday and this morning and 48 degrees
Fishing remains good, Jig and shallow or deep cranks have been the best for me ,there is also some big fish being caught on Chatterbaits
The lipless bite should kick into high gear with the cool down

DFW permit list shows a big bass style tournament scheculed for Clearlake Oct-29-30th
Just wondering if anyone knows anything about this as this is the first ive heard of it.

They have been spraying all year . A friend just called said at least 6 boats spraying today.
I have witnesses that saw boats spraying pellets in the area that the die off was a couple days before the die off.
WE NEED TO REGULATE THIS BETTER!!!!!

Fished till noon today ,Water 82 at noon.Caught 30-40 fish on everything.Even caught 2 smallies.I would just like to add that the spinnerbait bite is as about as good as it gets right now. Took a rookie out and thats all he threw and caught 15 or so on it.Our best five 22-24 #

Fished fri am.caught fish on frogs,jigs, hula grubs ,spinnerbaits ,deep crankbaits, drop shot and senkos.Parts of the lake are green and parts are clearer.Stayed mid lake .Get out early its been Hot mid day.

Michael,
Frog bite has been good in am, it comes and goes.Not a lot of mats but the lakes fishing good right now.If the jig bite in August is as good as last year thats the bite i would chase.The deep bite has taken off in the last couple weeks, jigs and crankbaits. Also a good chatterbait bite.

Crappie are still being caught .The bulk of them have moved out of spawning areas but when you find them you can catch 100 or more. They will eventually move offshore but in the fall around thanksgiving the shallow bite will be good again.

2 tournaments at Berryessa that weekend also both smaller than FLW. FLW could have 100-150 boats. Just go fishing ,if you end up sharing water with someone just make the best of it.I personally would stay on the north end in April .Its a big lake and plenty of places to fish even with tournaments go...
