Fish release Rules for Clear Lake

Question as a new TD for our club. We are fishing Clear Lake in a month and I was told their are special rules for fish release there? We are going out of the casino and I was told all fish must be released 1/4 mile out of the marina area and facility . Is this a Fish n Game rule or proper tourney etiquette? Had a know it all bystander lecture us once and want to do the right thing.

your permit should spell that out for you., but actually I believe it is 1 mile out from the marina, and that is CFW.

Its 2 miles from weigh in and 400 yrds offshore.
