Re: Tandem trailer question
There are little dollies made expressly for this issue (I think for cars originally). I don't remember the brand name but I think there are several brands some more expensive than others. A fellow I fished with last year bought some and said they work perfectly. They are a much simpler solution than...

Kinda have to disagree with you Elf, KVD if memory serves has never done particularly well in the west. Getting an 1198 and selling my 997. Works perfectly all the latest software updates.
No transducer (although when I get my 1198 I will have an extra which could be included) no power cord (same story). I will also include the sun shield which is a must!

One other trick is to either make a cast or walk out a practice plug a good "casting distance" and before you reel the line back up, take a piece of tape and put it across the line still on the spool. By doing this, you can cast without getting an overun greater than the line out from the ...

The albright is a better knot. It won't slip but the best part is it is smaller and thus goes through the guides better. Once you get used to tying it, it just as easy to tie as the uni, maybe easier. It is worth learning. I've been doing the braid/fc for several years and have NEVER had a problem w...
