36v on an 18' Ranger is the way to go. I had one on my 461 and loved it. You can chase schooling fish and cut across coves with ease. Jeff if you would just get back on your diet you could make up for the extra battery

Re: Revised Lake County Boat Inspection takes effect January

The procedure for out-of-county or non-resident boats is that a certified screener must inspect them. The boater will fill out a form and sign it, stating that his/her boat has not been in a quagga mussel- or zebra mussel-infested body of water for the past 30 days and is not registered in a county ...

One thing for sure if you invest in a pair of Go-Jacks you will be able to manuver that thing to whatever angle you need easily. If the water is up in the brush, green pumpkin 5" Senkos weightless or wacky rigged will always get some good fish. Just long cast it into the cuts with brush, or to any bush and you should get bit.

I bought a pair of go-Jacks for my Z20 dual axel. I can move it around to fit in the garage easier than my old 461 with a single axel trailer. Castaic Lake is in great shape right now as far as water level. It is part of the state water project so unless the delta runs out of water we should be in great shape, but only the State Department of Water Resources truly knows what the lake level will be by then.
