On March 2, John LaBove landed an amazing Lake Fork teener with this 15.48 pound bass. She was weighed and held at an official ShareLunker Station - the Minnow Bucket. On April 7, the Texas Freshwater Fisheries Center released this video of here spawning activity.
The Minnow Bucket report that she came out of 4-feet of water and fell to a black and blue jig.

On March 8, Michael Terrebonne landed Lake Fork's second Legacy Class ShareLunker with this 13.00 pound bass was entered into the program.
Terrebonne's bass came out of 6-feet of water and measured 25-inches long.

On March 11, Alex Finch with his 13.06 pound Lunker from Lake Fork This one was the 3rd Legacy Class ShareLunker to come out of Lake Fork in a span of less than two weeks. The ShareLunker Program reported that it was March Madness in Texas.

On March 14, Austin Terry caught his 13.40 pound Legacy Lunker at Twin Buttes Reservoir! It went 25 3/4-inches. The Lone Star Outdoor News reported it ate a 1/2-ounce Santone spinnerbait in Red River Special and came out of 4-feet of water.
It was reported that the last ShareLunker caught at Twin Buttes was logged on Sept. 26, 1989.

On March 25, Pablo Torres Jr. got his 13.34 pound Legacy Lunker, out of Kurth Lake. Texas Parks and Wildlife Department reported that it was the first time in the 32-year history of the Toyota ShareLunker program that the Kurth Reservior in Lufkin produced a largemouth over 13-pounds.
She came from a depth of 8-feet.
Torres Jr.'s catch went 26-inches long.

On March 31, a 13.06 pound ShareLunker from Sam Rayburn was caught by Stacy Spriggs. The Spriggs' bass was weighed and cared for at the newest ShareLunker holding station, Sam Rayburn Lakeview.
She caught the bass during a tournament.
It went 27-inches long.

Changes were announced to the ShareLunker Program this year. There are now three classes of ShareLunkers.
Lunker Class 8+ | To qualify the bass must be a minimum of 8 pounds or 24 inches long. Once the bass reaches 10-pounds or more, it moves up to the Elite Class
Elite Class 10+ | A bass in the tweener range – a double-digit from 10- to 12-pounds qualifies. Once the bass hits 13-pounds it moves up to Legend Class.
Legend Class 13+ | A bass that hits the teener mark – 13-pounds or more.
There is also a Legacy Class bass, which is a teener that is caught and loaned to the ShareLunker program during spawning season (January to March) and is selected for the breeding program.
