In 2021, AFTCO will expand their pro team with the addition of Bassmaster Elite Series emcee Dave Mercer to represent AFTCO’s line of bass fishing apparel.  New to this year’s team including Mercer are former Bassmaster Classic champions Hank Cherry and Jay Yelas, along with 2020 Elite Series champion Frank Talley and Elite Series rookies Bryan New and Marc Frazier.  This diverse group will join Mike Iaconelli in rounding out Team AFTCO's new signings for 2021.

According to AFTCO President Casey Shedd, “We’re excited to once again be kicking off the season as the title sponsor for the Bassmaster Elite Series at St. Johns River in Palatka, FL and are extremely humbled to have partnered with some great personalities and anglers for 2021. Amidst the chaos and disruption, we have all endured in 2020, we’re proud as ever to remain stable and family owned with a laser focus on bringing the best fishing clothing for anglers.

AFTCO remains dedicated to growing its business to help improve our freshwater fisheries. In 2021, AFTCO will continue their successful conservation programs including Bank Bags, Bass Bus Release Boat, GLATOS, weigh in bags, conservation grants and now support of the War on Carp

Entering only its fourth full year in the freshwater market, AFTCO continues to build a strong following with anglers and fans at all levels of competition and recreation, on and off the water. In total over 20% of the Bassmaster Elite Series field will be wearing AFTCO products during the 2021 tournament season.
