APRIL IN THE OZARKS

APRIL IN THE OZARKS

Are you still looking for a gift for the angler or anglers in your life?

Or maybe trying to plan a spring fishing trip of your own?

If a distant or international venue is not in the cards, I think I have a great option!

Along with a friend, I’m organizing a trip to the Ozarks from April 20-23, 2023. We’ll be fishing Table Rock Lake and Bull Shoals with professional anglers and there’s still space left.

Chad Morgenthaler

is helping me organize this effort. He’s a former Elite Series angler and seven-time Bassmaster Classic Qualifier. I’ve fished with Chad in the region several times and he knows his stuff.

Veteran Table Rock Guide

  • Do you want to learn how to use Livescope?

  • Do you want to catch all three major species of bass?

  • Do you want an expert tutorial on dropshotting?

  • Swimbaits?

  • Flipping heavy cover?

  • Do you just want to catch the snot out of a bunch of fish?

If you answered “yes” to any of the questions above, then this trip is for you!

We will also have dinner with the guides one of the nights — an opportunity to learn about life on tour or ask any follow-up questions.

We’d love to have other ladies along with us, but we’re also looking for couples, parent/child combos, or anyone who wants to catch fish and learn. Fish out of tournament-rigged boats with provided top notch equipment. Lunch, water and snacks will also be onboard. All you need to bring are proper attire and a fishing license (which can be purchased online).

Making it even better, the area is super-easy to get to. I’ve posted a map below with a circle showing a 400 mile radius of Table Rock, in case you’d prefer to drive. If you’d rather fly, I’ve also shown a flight map of direct flights to the Springfield, Missouri Airport (SGF). Depending on where you’re coming from, you can get there on American, United, Delta or Allegiant.

There are a wealth of options for lodging in the region and we’ll be able to make suggestions, and hopefully we’ll all eat together in the evenings to share fish stories. Furthermore, this is the perfect site for a longer trip, with TONS of things to do — including Dogwood Canyon, Big Cedar Lodge, the award-winning Wonders of Wildlife Museum, and of course Branson. Email me today or call me at (703) 932-6299 if you have interest or questions. I hope to see you in Missouri!
