Boaters and anglers: Help stop the spread of aquatic invasive species

Aquatic invasive species (AIS) are threatening the public’s angling and boating recreation and our state’s water and electrical infrastructure. Help prevent the spread of these aquatic hitchhikers by cleaning, draining and drying your boat (and pulling your plug).

In addition to the general AIS decontamination requirements and protocols described below, anglers should take note of the New Zealand Mudsnail Decontamination Options and Angling Recommendations.
