After swimming under the Golden Gate Bridge and through the San Francisco Bay, Central Valley Salmonids swim hundreds of miles up the Sacramento or San Joaquin Rivers.
These rivers may seem like strange places to find a fish that spends most of its life in the ocean. Yet, salmonids have lived there for millions of years.
