With fall season in full swing, thoughts of catching big bass on the Delta is on the minds of many tournament and weekend anglers. And the one bait that usually comes to mind in catching these magnum fish is the jig. The jig for me has been the go to bait in catching many good size tournament keepers and many times has been the difference in whether I collect a check or not. I am not saying that the jig is the only bait that will catch big bass, there are many other baits that will work at this time of year. It is the jig that is most consistent.
