Fatsack Offers Mobile Fishing App to Record Catches

Fatsack Outdoors Inc., a South Carolina-based technology company, introduced a mobile fishing application to improve the experience of both professional and recreational anglers. In its first year, Fatsack acquired more than 10,000 users, attracted the attention of SC Launch, and aligned themselves with some of the biggest names in the industry.

In addition to signing Matt and Jordan Lee, Brian Latimer, and Brandon Cobb to their pro staff, Fatsack has partnered with market leaders such as Big Bite Bait, Rat-L-Trap, Booyah Bait, and ConnectScale. They also scored a major triumph through a partnership with Wide Open Spaces, the fastest growing outdoors site in the United States.

The Fatsack Outdoors team can quite often be seen at pro tournaments throughout the country. CEO, Nick Rubio, tries to attend as many events as possible, not only to spread the word about the Fatsack app, but to show support to the people and businesses who strive to improve the sport of fishing. In that endeavor, he also sponsors several high school and collegiate fishing teams. One of the Fatsack-sponsored teams, Tennessee Tech, just won first place at the Carhartt Bassmaster Classic College Series.

The Fatsack app is packed with a variety of valuable resources for use both on and off the water and provides streaming weather data, a tackle inventory system, and amazingly detailed analytics. More importantly, it automates the outdated practice of manually logging catches.

With a touch of a button, the app records important data including exact location, water temperature, weather, and time of day. A few additional swipes of the thumb allow the user to input the specific lure, jig, or bait used to catch the fish. The specific analytics are stored within the user's phone and available at all times. This makes it easier to duplicate and recall exact details after a great day of fishing. According to pro angler, Jordan Lee, "Organization is a key ingredient to success in bass tournaments. The Fatsack app helps me organize my fish catches and makes me a more productive angler."

The website is www.fatsackoutdoors.com and the app can be found on Google play and iTunes App Stores by searching Fatsack Outdoors.
