During the program, Parker will catch up with Paul Elias of Pachuta, Miss. – the bass pro who took home the $100,000 check from the Atchafalaya Basin in 2003 – as he prepares for the 2004 event. Elias has been fishing the FLW Tour since 1997 and has amassed five top-10 finishes during his tenure.
Also on the show, co-host Carlton Wing will take a look at the professional fishing career of Team Castrol pro Carl Svebek III of Siloam Springs, Ark. Svebek, who is in his sixth season on the FLW Tour, started competing professionally in 1995 in the Wal-Mart Bass Fishing League Okie and Cowboy divisions. Since then, Svebek has accumulated 11 top-10 FLW Outdoors finishes and won two tournaments – an EverStart Series Central Division event in 1998 and a Wal-Mart Texas Tournament Trail event in 2001. What has escaped Svebek, however, is a win on the FLW Tour. The pro will be looking to change that statistic in 2004.
