FPT presents inaugural NAVIONICS Cup for 2009

SACRAMENTO, Ca. – While competitive fishing is fun, for many it is all about the pursuit of excellence. And nothing drives a bass angler more in that pursuit, than being honored for the tenacity and determination it takes to be the “best of the best”.

NAVIONICS Inc., the world leader in electronic mapping technology, is keenly familiar with this principle, setting the “standard” for product excellence and customer care within the boating/electronics industry they serve.

“Future Pro Tour competitors, and bass anglers in general, are truly amazing in how they use their various skill sets on the water”, noted Tshombe Moore, regional sales manager for NAVIONICS. They are constantly adapting to changing environments, and are required to focus on the most subtle of details in order to be successful on the water. At NAVIONICS we strive to do the same, and presenting this NAVIONICS Cup title to teams with that kind of determination and focus, is simply a symbol of what is possible when you commit to being the best.”

To accentuate this principle, NAVIONICS has joined with the Future Pro Tour to announce the first-ever NAVIONICS Cup, an inaugural title that rewards excellence, and provides a full promotional sponsorship unlike any offered in amateur-level competition.

Here is how the program works:

Teams register for the NAVIONICS Cup program before the 2009 season begins, where you will receive special NAVIONICS cap and decal. You may register online or at either of the FPT season openers.

At the end on the season, the highest finishing team - from both northern and central regions, enrolled in the NAVIONICS Cup program will receive the following:

o Placement on the NAVIONCS promotional team for the 2010 FPT season (Jan-Dec)

o One NAVIONICS Platinum Chip for (each team)

o A decaled NAVIONICS boat wrap (one team members boat)

o NAVIONICS custom embroidered jacket, shirt, and cap denoting promotional team appointment and commemorating the NAVIONICS Cup title (each team member)

o Paid entry fees into the 2010 Future Pro Tour season (each team)

o A $500 gas card to assist with 2010 traveling expenses (each team)

So there you have it...a fantastic opportunity to take your game to the next level and gain access and exposure to the “promotional side” of angling - while doing what you love to do!

The Future Pro Tour, along with NAVIONICS, is pleased to present this opportunity to FPT members and look forward to a fun and exciting “race for the Cup” in 2009!

See you all on the water!
