It seems like just yesterday anglers were battling it out to be crowned the first-ever Future Pro Tour champions, and win the keys to a new automobile courtesy of People’s Folsom Lake/Stockton – Chrysler-Jeep-Nissan-Hyundai-Isuzu dealerships.
With the winter period closing down it’s final phase in preparation for the upcoming spring, and the boat/sportsman expos serving to keep “cabin fever” at manageable levels, the time is right for you and your partner to start thinking about a strategy for this year’s 7-event tour.
This year’s tour offers even more incentives for the amateur angler, as many of the premium tackle manufactures as well as out-of-industry sponsors lend their support to the Future Pro Tour. The Future Pro Tour’s two-day classic scheduled for November 6-7, will once again be an exciting affair in that it will be held on Folsom Lake and the California Delta! This split venue will again provide a dramatic end to a challenging year and serve to even the playing field for both “worm draggers” and “delta rats” alike!
As always, in keeping with our mission statement “A Great Place to Learn”, The Future Pro Tour is proud to announce that it will continue to provide FREE seminars prior to each event featuring the top bass professionals in the west. On tap for this year’s seminar schedule are Gary Dobyns, Robert Lee, Kent Brown, Dave Rush, Tony Franceschi, Skeet Reese, Dee Thomas, Andy Cuccia, and many other tops pros ready to help you kick some bass! (pun intended). These seminars are FREE and will be open to everyone..even if you don’t fish the Future Pro Tour’s event. After these events there are free drawings for premium prizes and lots of free product to be given to anglers ready to learn!
The Future Pro Tour kicks off its 2004 season on March 20th, in the beautiful Napa Valley at Lake Berryessa! Spanish Flat Resort/Marina will be our host and is offering substantial discounts for those fishing this event.
