They are well known for their quality lines, and this year instead of offering many new products, they added some smart sizes for anglers looking for bulk fishing lines. They also added a leader line specifically for the rigors of saltwater fishing in the Gulf States.
Gulf Coast Slam Leader | Japanese Fluorocarbon
Gulf Coast Slam fluorocarbon was built to withstand harsh conditions around the Gulf of Mexico. P-Line hails its durability, strength, and invisibility. These attributes make it an ideal combination when it comes to a fishing line because it leads to more bites and more fish brought to the boat.
They built this line by using the best Japanese raw materials available and used the latest in extrusion technology. It is tough, abrasion resistant and virtually invisible underwater. It is also said to have excellent knot strength.
This new leader material comes in easy to manage 50-yard spools, and it is available in line sizes ranging from 10 to 50-pound test.
P-Line Tactical Fluorocarbon Bulk Spools
The Tactical Fluorocarbon is one of P-Line’s most popular fishing lines and now it is available in bulk spools.
The 1,000-yard spools allow anglers to fill up more reels and save money in the long run.
The days of having several filler spools with a little of line left on the spool are gone for those who buy in bulk. Now, that extra line is minimized and results in more line making it onto your reels.
The Tactical Fluorocarbon won the Best of Show Winner in the Line category at the ICAST 2016 and has continued to be a favorite among pros and weekend anglers alike. They use a unique formulation that allows the line to be clearer than some other fluorocarbons on the market. This helps to get more bites during a day as the line is virtually invisible.
The process they use to make it also makes it durable, abrasion resistant, and excellent casting. It performs well on both baitcasting and spinning gear and comes in sizes from six to 20-pound test.
FloroClear Bulk Spools
Like the Tactical Fluorocarbon, the ever-popular FloroClear now comes in a larger size to accommodate anglers who use large amounts of line.
The new spools are 600-yards compared to the standard 300-yard and 3000-yard spools it was offered in previously. The 600-yard spools provide cost savings and will make P-Line users very happy with the new size offered.
The P-Line FloroClear is a hybrid line that combines their co-polymer line with a fluorocarbon coating. That helps to get the benefits of both types of line. It is more invisible thanks to the coating, but still maintains some of the properties of a copolymer.
It also has a thin diameter compared to P-Line CXX but still has plenty of strength to land fish. It can be purchased in a wide range of sizes from four to 25-pound test.
P-Line has been busy with a brand new product as well as additions to their already popular lineup. The new sizes give anglers more options and will help them save money in the process.
