HAVE YOU CAUGHT A MARLIN YET?

Something must be in the air — or the water — this week, because our two favorite Central American saltwater fishing lodges both produced giant black marlin.

As Casa Vieja Lodge in Guatemala, our friend Barney Houser whacked on a bunch of sailfish, and also added an estimated 500-pound black marlin to the mix.

Meanwhile, at Sport Fish Panama Island Lodge, Captain Juan Diego put his clients on a similarly-sized black, along with enough tuna that they were crying “no mas.”
