Here's the Deets on What Jordan Lee Used His Lowrance for at the MLF Win

Lowrance Angler Scores Inaugural Major League Fishing Bass Pro Tour Championship

Lee, Evers, Howell, Sprague, Connell and Omori Dominate in Kissimmee
Tulsa, Okla. – Lowrance®, a world-leader in fishing electronics since 1957, continued its domination of America’s tournament-fishing circuit as Lowrance Pro Jordan Lee claimed the inaugural Major League Fishing (MLF) Bass Pro Tour Stage One championship trophy. The event was held in Kissimmee, Florida, January 29 through February 3.

Lee’s winning total of 55 pounds, 1 ounce, lead fellow Lowrance anglers Edwin Evers, Randy Howell, Jeff Sprague, Dustin Connell and Takahiro Omori, who came in second, sixth, eight, ninth and tenth, respectively. Armed with Lowrance HDS Live displays, the 27-year-old Guntersville, Alabama native is one of only three anglers in history to win back-to-back Bassmaster Classics; was the 2014 Bassmaster College Series Bracket Champion and one of the youngest-ever members of the $1 Million Club.

“My Lowrance HDS Live units definitely were a big part of my win,” said Lee. “I had the C-MAP card for Lake Garcia, which gave me a super detailed understanding of what was out there. The hard bottom was where I concentrated my fishing for the win. The water was clear, and fish were going in to spawn. The tracks showed me exactly where I was and where I had been, allowing me to fish some of the better spots twice. Having a great fishfinder and chartplotter, even in shallow water was important to help me take home the trophy.”

“We would like to congratulate Jordan for winning the first MLF Bass Pro Tournament,” said Leif Ottosson, CEO, Navico. “We are very proud of all of our Lowrance Team anglers, six of whom were in the Top 10. Overall, more anglers fishing in the MLF Bass Pro Tour are using Lowrance marine electronics than all other brands combined – proving once again why Lowrance is ‘America’s Number One Fishfinder’.”
