Nov. 30 is the last day of the 2016 recreational red abalone season. Novemberis your last chance this season at the largest abalone in the world! In addition to a fishing license, an abalone report card is required. Abalone may only be taken from 8 a.m. to one-half hour after sunset.
Three red abalone may be taken per day. All red abalone must be seven inches or greater measured along the longest shell diameter. No other species of abalone may be taken or possessed.
