Featuring a sleek design and high-performance features, the new Fantasista X rods are constructed with 36-ton graphite and Abu Garcia’s proprietary Powerlux 500 resin system. The Abu Garcia custom Fuji soft-touch reel seats coupled with a split-grip design help further reduce weight and increase sensitivity in the nine casting and four spinning rods included in the Fantasista X family.
The new Abu Garcia Veritas PLX Tournament rods offer serious anglers increased strength and sensitivity with reduced weight. Featuring an all-black rod blank constructed of 36-ton graphite with Powerlux 200 resin, the Veritas PLX Tournament rods stand out from other all-white rods bearing the Veritas name. The distinction in aesthetics underscores the additional performance-based features of these new rods, which includes titanium-alloy guides with zirconium inserts, Carbon handle split-grip design and the Robotically Optimized Casting System guide train that maximizes casting distance. Combined, these enhancements result in a rod that’s 6 percent lighter and 7 percent more sensitive than other Veritas PLX rods.
