National Media On The Water with Discover Boating

Discover Boating hosted national media on the water last week in New York and Boston to help media experience boating firsthand and spur on-water story ideas. National media that attended inlcuded Men's Journal, SELF, Shape, Women's Health, NY Mag, Forbes Life, Conde Nast Traveler, Food Network, National Geographic Adventures, Paste, People Home & Travel and Health.

In addition to discussing story ideas with these writers, Discover Boating helped bring to life this summer's campaign theme 'Vacation on Demand' – connecting the kind of feelings and experiences that come from boating with the feelings and experiences that come from something most people understand— being on vacation. We highlighted ways their readers can get on the water from boat rentals to boat clubs and helped them experience how boating lets you take a 'Vacation on Demand."

All media expressed how much they loved being on the water, with many taking to their social channels posting pictures of the experience with a newfound appreciation for the boating lifestyle. As a result of these new media relationships, Discover Boating will work with each outlet to identify story opportunities.
