Careco Seeks Additional Staff Camera Operators

San Antonio, TX - Careco is looking for additional full time staff camera operators! This position is for both experienced and newcomers who shoot video/digital format that want to be trained and gain the experience needed to shoot, run audio, and light at the highest level in the outdoors production industry.
This position is perfect for those that enjoy the outdoors -- working and being in the outdoors, videoing fishing and hunting content. We will train this camera person to shoot, produce, live stream, and manage media in the field, and in an office environment at times. This position will be on the water capturing content of fishing action or in the field on hunting adventures. This is perfect for anyone with a passion for this whether young or old.
Position is based in San Antonio, Texas – living in or relocation to this area is required.
This position has a heavy travel schedule (average 100 days of travel annually). Valid driver’s license is required. A hardworking attitude is key!
When not traveling, applicant will work in the office to assist with media management, simple editing, shooting products as needed, maintaining camera gear, and assisting any other ways needed to get the job done.
Careco shoots and produces nearly a dozen outdoor television series annually, including Americana Outdoors, Fisherman’s Handbook, Whitetail Diaries, Fishing & Hunting Texas, Deer Gear TV, Collegiate Bass Fishing Series, and more! We all love what we do and work hard and want to expand great opportunities to other up and coming video photographers or experienced ones who just want a change of pace.
Salary:
Based upon experience. Health insurance, retirement savings program, paid holidays & vacation days are available to full-time employees.
