NPFL 2026 Angler Field Full Roster Released and Final Spots Available
NPFL confirms its biggest 2026 field yet with 130 anglers but leaves room for select applicants See the full list and how to join

WILKESVILLE, Ohio — The National Professional Fishing League has filled its 2026 roster with 130 anglers, marking the largest field in league history. But according to NPFL President Brad Fuller, there is still limited room for talented competitors who want to join next season.

Fuller says the NPFL is open to adding a few more anglers who not only compete at a high level, but also bring integrity, professionalism, and passion to the sport.

“We’re still accepting talented anglers who are also outstanding human beings,” Fuller explains. “This is shaping up to be our biggest and best season ever. While 130 anglers is considered a full field, we can make room for a few more who are ready to test themselves against a top-tier schedule and elite competitors.”

2026 Season Overview

The six-stop 2026 NPFL campaign opens on Florida’s Harris Chain in March and concludes in September on New York’s Lake George. The schedule includes fisheries across Florida, Texas, Alabama, and New York — offering a diverse mix of largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted bass opportunities.

“For anglers ready to take on a variety of fisheries, species, and conditions, the NPFL is the answer,” Fuller says. “It’s also a chance to compete against legends like Rick Clunn, Greg Hackney, and Andy Morgan; crossover stars such as Patrick Walters, John Cox, and Zack Birge; and rising NPFL names like Timmy Reams, Todd Goade, and Scott Hamrick.”

More than a dozen true rookies will also make their debut in 2026, adding fresh talent to the field.

How Angler Selection Works

All applicants must commit to the entire six-event season. A locked field ensures consistency, fairness, and a high-quality competitive environment.

Fuller emphasizes that the NPFL’s screening process focuses on character as much as skill.

“We interview every angler before they are selected,” Fuller notes. “No one is guaranteed acceptance based on a résumé or sponsor list. We look for excellent anglers and excellent people who share our vision.”

Anglers who want to secure one of the final remaining spots should submit their NPFL Angler Application as soon as possible.
