New from PENN, the Carnage III rods represent the next generation of high-performance rod building with powerful, lightweight blanks and high-end components that deliver maximum durability.
PENN’s Carnage III Inshore models feature SLC2 rod blank construction, which houses inner spiral carbon wraps and outer layers of longitudinal carbon fibers. The result is an extremely strong yet balanced rod built for hard-fighting species that require versatile gear.
The Boat/Jigging, West Coast, Surf and ULUA models feature SLS3 blank construction built with a very thin diameter blank while maintaining a lightweight feel designed for aggressive action from formidable big-water species.
New for 2021, the Carnage III Slow Pitch models feature RCB2 rod construction consisting of a rolled composite core and outer layers of longitudinal glass, which provides a lightweight, thin, and parabolic blank that flexes from grip to tip, distributing weight for extra durability.
The entire series of Carnage III rods are customized with high-end components such as Fuji K-Guides to ensure flawless performance as well as better casting and reduced friction during line-peeling fish battles. PENN completes this workhorse of a rod with Sea-Guide or Fuji reel seats and custom handles built for comfort.
