Pete Maina Muskie trebles (Ref No. TG101NP-BN) are a Standard Wire/2X Long UltraPoint designed for fishing on large plugs and lures, and are made with as light a wire as possible for minimal impact on lure action. The barbs on Pete Maina Muskie trebles are 30 percent smaller than those on standard muskie trebles. This promotes a faster and safer release of fish and makes it easier to convert the hook to fully barbless. These new premium trebles are available in Mustad’s eco-friendly Black Nickel finish, and come in sizes 1/0 to 8/0.
Mustad’s Pete Maina Treble Hook series features the company’s 4.3 Micro Sharp Point Technology. This unique, three-stage, Opti-Angle sharpening process provides a sharp point with incredible strength and durability, which means hook points don’t roll and stay sharper longer. Mustad’s Nor-Tempering process results in up to 30 percent more strength than conventional hooks.
