ASA Comments on the Bureau of Land Management’s (BLM) proposed Conservation and Landscape Health Rule
In early July, ASA wrote to the BLM on their proposed Conservation and Landscape Health rule, which would establish land health safety standards for all BLM-managed lands. While ASA appreciates BLM’s focus on conserving public lands, we are concerned that this rule provides insufficient clarity and detail on both its understanding of conservation and how it would establish a conservation leasing mechanism. Learn more
