STEVE SAPP SEMINAR AT DAVE'S BASS SHACK IN TRACY

Delta sensation Steve Sapp to speak on Delta Bass fishing techniques Wednesday March 3rd at 6pm. Dave’s Bass Shack and FishDelta.com have teamed up to bring anglers one of the most successful anglers on the River to share his knowledge on Delta Bass Fishing methods.  

  Sapp’s accomplishments include numerous Delta win’s in both the Pro and team circuits. The 55-year-old Sapp, of Manteca, has dominated fishing on the Delta, winning the Won Bass Pro/am tournament in 1998, 1999, 2000, 2002 and 2003 that string broken only once two years ago year by Jim Reese of Witter Springs. This is just one example of his dominance here on the California Delta.  

  This past weekend Steve Sapp and team partner John Varanai of Manteca dominated the first 100% Bass team event of the year. Everyone knows this is Steve’s time of year and he didn’t let us down. Weighmaster Shane Kornhauser started by weighing their big fish of the day, a very nice 10.30 pound delta Largemouth. When he added the other 6 fish, these guys had a total of 33.85 for 7 fish. Not bad for the middle of February. Just wait another month, and we will see 40 pounds for sure.
