THE SUMMER TO FALL TRANSITION HAS BEGUN

Water temps are beginning to fall and bass are starting to rise from the depths. Moving in from offshore structure, bass are setting up in the mouths and points of creeks. While catching bass can prove to be more difficult during this transition, fish can be caught by keying in on the concentrations of bait. 

Moving baits that imitate fleeing baitfish excel as this transition progresses, look for activity near the surface in creek mouths and channel swings. Topwater, vibrating jigs, and paddle tail swimbaits will produce quality bites.
