Big Bend, WI (September 26, 2005) – The Sportsman Channel, the first and only television network dedicated exclusively to hunting and fishing programming 24 hours a day, seven days a week and Comcast, the country's leading provider of cable, have signed a multi-year agreement for TSC to seek carriage from Comcast divisions.

TSC has already secured distribution with Time Warner Cable, Charter Communications, Cox Communications and Adelphia Communications with over 50 launches in the last three months.  TSC President/CEO, Michael Cooley, stated his pleasure in securing Comcast only two years after TSC started.  “It didn’t take long for Comcast to see the value in a channel dedicated to the 47 million hunters and anglers in the U.S.,” states Mr. Cooley. “We have experienced tremendous growth just this past year and this agreement will allow us to provide dedicated sportsmen the hunting and fishing programming they desire.”

This agreement enables TSC to call on each division and gain access to Comcast’s 22 million subscribers. “It is very important now for our sportsmen to call Comcast and request TSC; then each division can better understand the demand for our programming,” stated Mr. Cooley.

TSC is the hunting and fishing destination for the serious sportsman that offers such nationally acclaimed shows like Babe Winkelman’s Good Fishing, Fishing with Joe Bucher, and Sportsmen’s Outdoor Strategies. Additionally, TSC and Cabela’s, the World’s Foremost Outfitter®, recently announced a new block of hunting/fishing programming on Sunday nights titled, “Sunday Night Sportsman.” This block will be home to programs like, Whitetails Forever and One Shot Challenge – offering a mix of hunting and fishing for all levels of sportsmen.
