TOYOTA TO SPONSOR 2007 BASSMASTER ANGLER OF THE YEAR AWARD

CELEBRATION, Fla. – Toyota, a leading full-line manufacturer of vehicles known for their quality, reliability and durability, and BASS, the worldwide authority of bass fishing, announced today Toyota will sponsor the 2007 Bassmaster Angler of the Year program.

The official title of the 2007 award will be the Toyota Tundra Bassmaster Angler of the Year. Toyota also sponsors the Toyota Women’s Bassmaster Tour Angler of the Year program.

“With the launch of our all-new Tundra, we are truly excited to increase our commitment to BASS,” said Kim McCullough, corporate manager of marketing communications for Toyota. “We love interacting with fans with our on-site activities and enjoy helping move the sport of professional bass fishing forward.”

The agreement includes a tremendous presence across BASS’ multi media platforms, including editorial coverage in Bassmaster Magazine and on www.Bassmaster.com. Toyota will also receive coverage on The Bassmasters on ESPN2 Saturdays at 9 a.m. via weekly updates on the Bassmaster Angler of the Year race.

In addition to the Toyota Tundra Angler of the Year program, Toyota also sponsors the Toyota Rookie of the Year Award and the Toyota Moving Forward Award, presented to the angler who shows the most improvement in Angler of the Year standings from one year to the next.

The 2007 program will award Bassmaster Elite Series anglers with $600,000 in 2007 and with the Bassmaster Classic, is considered the most prestigious award in the sport of bass fishing.
