Water temperatures determine how quickly eggs develop.

Water temperatures have been warm this month and our first take of eggs has already developed visible eyes!

This stage of development is called the eyed-egg stage (not a real shocking name). At this point our staff can handle the eggs safely, and they will begin removing the white (dead) eggs next week.
