Wildlife Forever Art of Conservation® Fish Art Contest

This year’s Fish Art Contest will feature the “IGFA Conservation Award,” where students must focus their artwork on billfish and their conservation needs. This award is focused on one of the IGFA’s major conservation programs, the IGFA Great Marlin Race (IGMR), the world’s largest citizen science satellite tagging project for billfish.Youth in grades K-12 can compete showing their knowledge gained through research and learning the important role billfish play in ocean ecosystems. Students will also learn about sportfishing and the opportunity it creates for hands on learning and productive citizen science. The winner of the 2022 IGFA Conservation Award will receive a prize package from IGFA, international recognition, and promotion through the IGFA publications.
