Elite TI2 Sonar issues!!!

Can anyone assist in helping me find out the problem. I have 2 new Elite Ti2 units. When fishing I’ll get this lines going through the picture at a diagonal angle, As if there like pillars in the water. They will appear on after another until I start moving their they sometimes will go away and sometimes not. Any ideas?

Really hard to diagnose issues when we can't see what you are seeing. If you take a screen shot on your TI2 and post the image we can give good advice.

The first important information to know is if you have both running at the same time? If you move into water deeper than 10 feet with both running you will be getting crosstalk, which means unit A is receiving sonar signals sent out by unit B, which interfere with the sonar returns orginating from unit A; and vice versa. In water less than 10 feet the transducer signals don't overlap on most boats.

Other types of lines can be the result of transducer installation problems, and also electrical interference. We really need to see images to help diagnose if crosstalk isn't your problem.

Try and turn one unit off and see if lines go away?

Could be lots of things.

If units are on gimbal mounts you can bring them into FW and get them updated. If you bring them to the Sacramento store I can set them up for you!

Return it and Tetris your money back.

Do a google search of that unit and see what you find. It's only a matter of time before your sonar software goes version 0.0.0.

I bought a new one without doing any research because I've had Lowrance in the past with no issues. Got it may 6th. First time out I had all kinds of navigation issues. GPS failing, trails disappearing, screen freezing, screen going blank but I figured I just did something. Second time out GPS wouldnt even connect and the screen kept going black. Hard reboots. And the sonar kept changes settings and pallets. Next 2 uses were more of the same and on the 5th use neither the sonar nor chart would work.

Started doing research and was shocked what I found. It is a widespread problem. Serious, search Lowrance Elite Ti2 sonar 0.0.0.

BTW by all accounts Lowrance hasn't figured out a solution. It also tappers on their HDI line, too.
