Forrest L. Wood, the legendary boat builder that founded Ranger Boats, died Saturday, his family said through social media. He was 87.
"Peacefully, with his family by his side, Forrest L. Wood of Flippin passed away on Jan. 25, 2020 in his 87th year," Keith Daffron, Wood's oldest grandson, posted on Facebook. "The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the team at Baxter Regional Medical Center and the many friends who have provided comfort during this difficult time."
Funeral arrangements are pending and will be announced shortly, the family said.
