CLEARLAKE BITE

IS IT ALL SIGHT FISHING NOW AT CLEARLAKE/BED FISH, OR CAN A GUY STILL GO OVER AND TOSS JIGS, CRANKBAITS ETC, AND GET / CATCH FISH ?

Phil,

I was up there a week ago and caught fish up to 7 3/4 pounds on 1/2 ounce Voo-Doo Baits and a 3/8 ounce Toad Thumper Bass Baits jig with a Yamamoto Hula Grub.

No it is not all site fishing...at all....jigs, shakey head worms..etc etc are all taking fish.

I only saw few fish locked on beds this week...FWIW...that is just starting to happen now....

The bite is getting better. We must have caught over 60 fish in 2 days. Here are a couple of pics.

We saw fish cruising and hanging around beds, but not locked on yet. If I can get a "Get out of work pass" I'll be back up there Monday!
