Kudo's to Pro-Soft Bait Glue

Post by Gator »

While on the water today in Bones boat, I "ahem" inadvertantly hit some rocks with the trolling motor while trying to assist our young fisherman with retrieving a snag. The transducer broke off at the mounting bolt. Having nothing that I could think of to repair it, I pulled the TM out of the water, dried off the two pieces of transducer and used some Pro's Soft to re-attach the parts. Waited about a minute, put it back in the water and ran on it the the rest of the day.

Thanks Pros's Soft Bait Glue!!

i love that stuff. besides baits, i've used it for a bunch of household things, including shoes.

I had this happen as well, and used clear silicone adhesive and black electrican tape to hold it in place until it dried. Once dry, you could not pull it off. It has not been replaced yet in over one year of use. Also has some flex to it now with the silicon.

If it comes off again, try a good 2 part epoxy before you replace it. Same thing happend to me, and I've had the epoxied transducer on for years now, never broke again
