CBAF Kids camp at Collins Lake was Great!

Post by Jerry Fournier »

I attended my first CBAF kids camp at Collins Lake yesterday. I have to say that the CBAF guys really work hard for everyone who goes. Those that showed up with boats to help with the tournament walked away with a great feeling of satisfaction. We were also given shirts, and towels.

I saw fifty kids all wearing T shirts, Hats, and smiles. They were all given a new rod, reel and tackle box full of bass tackle. I saw thirty or forty tents that were provided for the kids by CBAF.

I have to say that the CBAF guys had all the kids working with them as the kids were all polite and fun to be around. I had the pleasure of taking two twin 9 year old girls out for their very first boat ride and fishing trip. It was awesome.

Thank you CBAF for making a difference in the lives of the kids. Great Job.

I agree Jerry! It was a great event and I was proud to have been involved and I appreciated the opportunity. All of the children were nothing but smiles and they had a great time.

The CBAF staff did great and so did the rest of the pro staff. There were so many great guys who took the time to take these kids out on the water to teach them the techniques and, of course, the fun of bass fishing.

A great time and well worth it when you see how happy everyone is to be a part of such wonderful event!

Thanks CBAF!

This was my Third or Fourth time helping and I can say that every year it just gets better. For the last 2 years my daughter has been able to participate and I think this year I needed it more than she did. Thank you CBAF for allowing me to be involved with such a wonderful organization, I am truley honored to call you my friends... Jason Bubier.

Had a great time! Thank you to CBAF and everyone involved! If you're on the fence about this event, definitely go! CBAF's crew makes it so easy for us to come help out, if you have the time, you should definitely come support!

I also helped out for the first time. I can tell you - a lot of hard work and lots of prayer goes into a weekend like this! I have done this type of weekend conference before and one can't realize the planning and organization that goes into an event like this!. The weather can be a problem too, but Sun was gorgeous! I also had a 9 year old young man. He didn't catch a bass but you should see him cast now!! A young "pro" in the making!!!

Tony "B",

Great pictures. Thanks for sharing.

The CBAF is a fantastic organization that conducts great tournaments and support many worthwhile causes.

I believe that they are sponsoring a "Feed the Hungry" tournament later in May at Lake Berryessa.
