A wildlife warden saved a baby and her grandmother moments before the Valley Fire consumed their Cobb home. Then, in Middletown, he helped rescue a woman who was trapped inside her home. His dramatic rescues caught Northern California’s attention, with many calling the warden a true hero.

“A true act of human compassion with immeasurable bravery and courage. A hero in my eyes,” Lorinda Snyder wrote on Facebook.

“Bless you Tim, you are a true example of a hero!!!” Cindi Allen said.
