Middle River bridge
Does anyone know who built the bridge from Upper Jones to Woodword, and why? It seems like it is an expensive bridge to nowhere right now.

During the days of the "twin tunnels", they were both going to plow down the middle of Woodward. Would not be a stretch to figure it was built there for future access. Single tunnel scheme, don't know if it follows the same path.

Re: Middle River bridge
Website says it was funded by the state, to replace the single vehicle Ferry. Since the Metropolitan Water District of So Cal (MWD) now owns multiple Delta Islands and runs this State thru proxies, you may rest assured they had their sleazy influence on this project.mark poulson wrote:Mike, do you know who paid for it?MichaelB wrote:During the days of the "twin tunnels", they were both going to plow down the middle of Woodward. The new bridge is very "worthy", you can bet it didn't come cheap.
