So it's not totally official because I mailed off the check and the permits so I'm just waiting for approval from DFG.. but heres how it's gonna go down.
Here are a few key notes and some big news.
- Top 20 boats in weight no matter how many sign up get to fish Saturday.
- 1n5 pay spots till we hit 10 pay spots, max 10 pay spots. 90% payback on all entry fees. Options are 100% payback for co side pro side see below...
- 10k first place prize if we hit 60 boats on the pro side.
- Co Angler side 1st place with 60 boats minimum will be $4500
- Custom trophies and plaques donated by Delta Awards
- Combined weight for Pro's and Co's all 3 days with a random draw each day for teams.
- 60 boats will be 3 flights
- Top 20 on saturday get their weights cleared to 0 so it all comes down to Saturdays weight if you qualify. (Take Top 20 in weight from Thursday/Friday)
- Catering for all anglers all 3 days. Pro's & Co's. You will get a wristband each morning that will get you a free meal at the weigh in. (Hotdogs one day, tacos day 2 and Philly cheese steak sandwiches day 3) provided by Big Boy Tacos
- I have 2 sponsors who will be covering the big fish pot for the Pro's side. So each day the big fish pot will be $400 on the pro side all 3 days that's $1200 of free money!!!
- Paradise point will be offering their staff all 3 days to help us launch boats and get everyone parked efficiently. We will have a golf cart that can transport anglers who can't walk as good to their boats and trucks.
- Paradise point will also be having 2 people monitoring the parking lots all 3 days to help with security on vehicles.
- Vendor booth spaces for Saturdays weigh in will be available upon request. Please reach out ASAP as spots are limited. Spaces available from 10am Saturday till end of weigh in.
- There will be no off limits prior to the event.
- Top 5 Pro's going into Saturday will have a camera boat follow them for the day. We will require a minimum of 3 hours of footage from the whole days fishing. Pro's will determine when they want to be filmed. If they haven't selected enough time through out the day the last remaining time will be recorded to fill the minimum 3 hours needed. (So if they choose only 1 hour first thing and nothing till the end of the day the last 2 hours will be filmed) professionally edited videos will be available and provided to the Pro's once complete and will be shared across our platforms.
Once it's official and I get the permit number from DFG I will have a link on our website to sign up for the event there will be no sign ups the day of the event. You MUST SIGN UP PRIOR!!! All things listed are subject to change but as for now this is how I see things going so far. Can't wait hope to see you all out there!!
