Re: Trolling Motor Install Question

I'm assuming that you have an onboard charger. If so, I highly recommend you use a breaker. All the manuals for MinnKota state breakers for the installation. The fuse will protect the motor however, some (not all but older model do) chargers need the seperation to charge the batteries properly. Call...

Re: East Park Resev.

I fish this lake every year. Better get there before they start the Sites Resorvior. The road leading in from I5 outside of Maxwell will be flooded. The only other way to get there will be the road to Indian valley. We go every May and the bass fishing last year was off the hook. Crappie fishing is ...

I saw a 17.10 at fishermans warehouse a while back and the did not have a camera. He also wanted to get it weighed on a certified scale. If you fish the back ponds, the terrian is pretty steep. There are not many places to fish from the bank (on Island pond). The main lake has a small off limits area straight accross from the boat launch. Here there is normally a mud line that holds fish. Follow this bank to the south I normally do w...

If you do use the earmuffs, DON'T go over 1500 rpms. You could do major damage to the powerhead. I would prep it for storage myself. Hope your health improves. Take care.

Re: carolina rig

Go with the Mojo weight system. It hangs up less, and is easily adjustable for the length of the leader without having to re-rig the leader. If you go with Brass and glass or Swivel and slide weight, make a few different length leaders so you have them ready. You can keep the leaders wrapped around ...

Re: Has anyone tried to compare the FLW v. BASS proposals?

Just a comment on the $50,000 for conservation. Gary said it best, that BASS is a southeast circuit that is nationally reconized so why don't they travel out west?. I'm sure the $50,000 will be divide between the southeast states and of course any state west of the Mississippi takes it in the shorts...

Re: Co-Angler trying to down size and needs help!

Take everything and prefish the lake if you can. This will atleast give you some color chioces to pack. After you talk to your first day pro, you will know exactly what you will need to bring by combining the tactics your pro plans to fish along with the results from prefishing yourself.

The crome colors work well on a bright sunny day. But once the skys are overcast go with more natural colors and stay away from the crome. The crome loses its reflective properties when in cloud cover. Hope this helps.

While fishing the Pro/Am at Clear Lake, I asked this question to every Pro I came accross. Every answer was Lowrance. Not one Pro had mentioned Pinpoint (at least all I asked). Most of the Pros had GPS on the front as well. Don't know if this helps but, that was the result of my pole. Good Luck!
