Ray,
YES, I moved back about 2 months ago and love being back in the city. FYI, if any of you guys need a partner for fun or practice let me know, I've been boatless for years and it hurts.

Re: Pointer rod? Opinions wanted.
The best rods hands down is a custom rod from Performance Tackle. I've been using their rods for about 10+ years and I will never use/own a regular factory rod again. I highly suggest any/all to try one. Their located here in So. Cali. in Los Alamitos.

Questions about the Top Stick Tour
Call me green, but I just ran across this tour here on Westernbass.com and was wondering a little about it. As a non-boater, do I need to sign up with a Pro in order to guaranty a spot?? Is the fee only $150?? Is there still space on the tour to fish as a non-boater?? I'm kinda interested in fishing...

Re: Can’t believe what I saw at DVL Sunday?
I second what Scott Shambre is posting, Pop & I did this method for years. I found it very easy and fast. We never had an issue when we released our fish after being needled between the crunchers. In my opinion, its the only way to needle your fish.

Re: Which Rod?
Ed, I think you should also look into the Team Daiwa - S rods. For heavier cranks try using TD-S701MHRB ( $99.95 ), these rods recently made it back to the market and everyones enjoying their return.

Re: What did you think of E.S.P.N'S coverage of the classic
Ever since ESPN bought BASS, the action we as anglers want to watch is fewer and is getting less televised. I remember the action we viewed years ago before ESPN bought the BASS was so much cooler and awsome to watch. It feels like watching a pre-game show that repeats story after story with no acti...

I've read almost everything that has been posted for the past few months and I've enjoyed everyones remarks, questions and answers. For those who don't know me, I spent a lot of time on the water with my dad (also Manny) fishing ABA and WONBASS, on Casitas, Perris etc... But for the past few years, I...
