I live there... that club info is outdated... the Canyon Lake Bassmsters are affiliated with TBF and FLW, They had a club tourney this last Saturday and it took 20 pounds to win. I have lived there for 11 years and really enjoy fishing the lake... there's NO real pressure due to it not being open to...

I think it's just a little early to make a call like that. The wind will be changing direction and is supposed to blow 15 to 20 mph... The smoke coming in from San Diego will be going the other way...

Tell the 13-7 I caught on a #4 G-lock with a 4 inch Robo sculpin at the Delta that drop shot doesn't work... I "go to" the drop shot whenever the bite is tuff because it can be fished so many ways... even can swim it.

The kids will fish Saturday and Sunday. They are going to be catching catfish, the trout kept dieing.

as far as I know.. fly rod type fishing is not a problem... any type of fishing is legal as long as it meets tournament limits and DFG regs...
