Re: This is how you have more boats show up for tournaments
"Cancelling tournaments? Uncalled for on any level. Why would anybody come back when you decide that only making 10 grand on a Pro/Am is not enough to show up for 50 guys that made the commitment to send in their entries, set up their gear and nearly have the truck loaded when you decide to pul...

Wow!! I've had some good conversations lately with Charlie. Still hard for me to believe he is out. Charlie and I had words and didn't see things the same on occasion BUT he was loyal to FLW. His kind of loyality is hard to find. I respect him for it and wish him the best. Kathy Fennel will do a go...

It wasn't that they cut us loose. It was the manner in which they cut loose every pro-staffer. Us local boys never received any notice whatsoever. Then Loomis and the regional reps wouldn't return phone calls or emails. To this day I have never received official word from ANYONE. It was a pretty cra...

Re: Blade-Runner Swim Bait Insert
The mold maker changed it just enough so it wasn't a 100% copy of the lead body. In fact its better in IMO. The reason behind the mold was "yours" doesn't come in the weights that complement the appropriate hook size. All I did was make some changes to improve the fuctionality. Flame and t...

I'm on the fence about this as well. It seems most of the arguments seem to be over which has the better down scan imaging. From the pictures is seems Lowrance does the down scan better, but does HB have better side imaging? Do both units still require imaging to be shot at an idle speed with the bi...

Re: Payouts ???? - Why the obsession.
Some guys like to add all the entry fees - options to see the real payout. The printed material doesn't always accurately depict the true payout. In other words add all the entry fees together and check the actual percentage vs. advertised percentage. MSRP on prize boats vs. actual value can further...

I agree is everything RS said. But all pros try their hardest to keep co's- from catching fish. Now this may change in a shared weight format or "may" change if the pro is 25lbs behind on the last day, but generally speaking this is the rule. At one time or another EVERY person who has EVE...

They will be mid-late spawn depending on the weather. Probably the best time of year to fish that pond. Pointers, rattle-baits, and the king of all Gorge baits is a white yammy grub slow rolled on a darter head over the grass. The fish are generally bigger on the WY side than the UT side. Grass w/ro...

This board used to contain real good information on the latest and greatest in bass fishing.
Now ever 3rd post is some tourney or some stupid post stating "XYZ rods, jigs, line, & pink underware now in stock". This board is now a muddy freaking mess of spammers.
Will this ever end?

Listen to you guys whine. Hippie has been speaking the truth for years. Won never paid back much of anything in the first place you naughtheads. $27,225 in entry fees on the AAA side, EXCLUDING any option money. The winner gets $1600.00 for 1st place. He obviously didn't enter the option pots. Won claims $20,060 paid?????? I'm surprised there is that many co-anglers signed up. I suspect the only reason there is a 130 some odd co-anglers signed up for Shasta is a lot of them are cherry picking the event. I mean look at the schedules. At least the co-angler has a chance to catch a few fish at Shasta. Havasu isn't the be...

If your a co-angler just expected to get back seated from time to time. Sometimes it is intentional and sometimes the Pro just needs to cast/retrieve at a certain angle to make the fish bite. You will be able to tell the difference. The secret is not to let it get in your head, make the adjustments....
