Not sure why this info wasn't on this site about ABA at Casitas but it took 29+pounds to win the tournament before yesterdays...And it took 38+ pounds to win yesterdays  That FFS comes in mighty handy on a lake full of brush. The best I've ever done here was 37+ and that was like 25 years ago...

Actually Kwin trout do make it into the lake by coming up Putah creek. I used to catch them in a net when the water temps would fry them in the summer and they would come up gasping on the surface at our resort in Glenhaven. There is even a fair smallmouth representation now in certain areas of the ...

I believe Gamma Ray radiation is used by lake Perris to kill off anything coming in via the aqueduct...Don't quote me on that. Rate of fall is a very critical thing....Since speed makes the fish react and do something they wouldn't normally do but is just a reaction I walk to my swimming pool for those answers. Some baits have different fall rates of themselves. Even a senko can fall fast or slow depending on how it hits th...

Flipping is so much more personal and in their face. I can only do it in rare instances in SoCa lakes so that's why I travel in the pre spawn so much. What a thrill to get it done on Clear Lake with one of your preferred approaches. Thanks for sharing.

I based my 27 limit number on my own performance last week. I had a 25+ limit in 15 minutes on one spot. You have to move to find winning fish. Your not going to pull out a flipping stick and beat these fish into submission. To much pressure.
