Thanks for the feed back. Rod, not sure why I was thinking it was 300. For $100 it's probably worth getting for the other capabilities

Lowrance Ghost remote for Launch

I just installed a new Ghost on my boat. I haven't even got it wet yet. I often fish alone. I was looking at the remote for the ghost and was wondering if it might be helpful for launch and recovery of the boat at the ramp. The docks at the ramps on my lakes are very small. I was thinking of instead...

Re: Co Anglers ... Will they become extinct... Thoughts?

I read the article. I have mixed feelings. Without a doubt, Pro/am tournaments breed the next generation of Pros. I am sure that they will not go away at the regional levels. Shared weight vs solo weight. I think there is room for both. Shared weight first, step up to solo. I've done both. At the hi...

Try Naciamento, near Paso Robles. No shortage of spots in that lake. They have lodging on the lake to make it easy. http://www.nacimientoresort.com/ The resort is the only public launch on the lake.

If you want size over numbers, try Pine Flat.

Enjoy

The state park is nice, but I don't remember hook ups. The CL web site doesn't show them either. Still a nice place.

I checked the DFG website before going over this weekend and it showed two clubs. I can't rememember which ones and the DFG website doesn't allow you to look at past dates. One of the clubs appeared to still be there on Sunday. There were way to many ski/wakeboarders out there for me. Bring the rain!

Does anyone know when the Stren series regestrations start?

It would nice to have another "non shared" weight weekend series like a WON or AC. Sorry, just had to make that pitch. Maybe someone will catch on and get one going. For now, I'll have to fish the Stren.

It is like having an ADT security sign in front of your house. If they really want into your boat/house, they can, but the house next to yours is easier. The locker bar isn't easy to get around. If someone does decide that they want what you have, it won't stop them, but it make it a little easier a...

It would be nice to have a two day NON shared weight format other than Everstart. Many can't afford to take a week off for every tournement. Non shared weight takes at least some of the luck out of the draw. How about it West Coast Bass! There always seems to be a waiting list to get into what few N...

As mentioned, Sugar Barge is a real nice CG. They have about 8 boat slips for rent as well.

I've tried two different lenses and still my Save Phace fogs up in the cold.

Is there a trick to not having it fog up? I was going to put some rainX on the lens but I know the lense has a coating already and don't want to mess the coating up with the RainX.

Thoughts please.

We have two thing going for us that help it work out. First, we have individual weights, so it doesn't matter how many folks are in the boat. Like Greg, we have the flexability to invite prospective members as well. That sometimes helps. When we do end up with an extra non-boater, we put the extra g...
