Re: YAHAMA ENGINES
Yamahas LOVE oil at WOT, seem to do better by far at 5000 rpm or less. Fuel-wise, same deal.

Re: I've run the numbers
Don't forget, guys, that many of us simply don't have enough time off work to fish these events. With the cost associated, most guys figure if they can't prefish for several days, they won't be competetive, and hence won't fork out the dollars to enter. It seems to me that nearly all tourney orgs no...

Re: Question about diesel MPG when not towing
I have owned a 2001 Cummins with 6 speed since Oct 2000. I haven't had a lick of trouble with this truck in 115,000 miles. I get approximately 20-22 mpg not towing (Hypertech chip and 4" exhaust). I have a 2005 Powerstroke 6.0 work truck that WILL NOT bark the tires, even if you slam on the ebr...

Mapping Cards?
Has anyone on here used the Garmin GPS mapping cards such as Bluechart? Are they worth the dollars? I'm using a GPS/Map 182c chartplotter. I fish mostly Shasta and Oroville, but venture to the Delta and Clear lake occasionally. Any comments or thoughts appreciated!

Re: Need help with Lowrance color graphs
Buy the color graphs and don't look back. You'll love them and if you ever sell the boat you will have an easier time selling it. It can get real expensive REAL fast if you try to upgrade later!

Re: WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO WON BASS PRO-AMS
I'm kind of curious why FLW doesn't hold all four of its tournaments in the northstate. They could have substituted Oroville for Havasu and made it a lot easier for more people to fish all four tournaments. Just my 2 cents.
