I'm only 23 so it might not be old to most of you guys but the first plastic worm I fell in love with was a motoroil colored Mann's Augertail worm. I only see em online now, been off the shelfs for a long time.

Re: Suspending crankbait?
Norman DD22's are very nice deep suspending cranks with a classic look and very affordable. They come in alot of colors too. Always try your local shops first then use tacklewarehouse.com as a last resort to get em.

Re: Dobyns 765FLIP or 766Flip?
Thanks for the input guys. I think I'm gonna lean toward the 766 just cause of the abilty to double as a frog rod. Do you think it could handle the smaller swimbaits as well? Don't get confused, I will be gettin a Mike Long swimbait rod in the near future.

Dobyns 765FLIP or 766Flip?
One of these will be my first flippin stick. But what are the purposes of each one have different actions? Med/Hvy and Hvy? I always thought flippin was flippin. I'll be using it in the delta if it helps with the feedback. Thanks.

Re: I'm lookin for a good jig for the delta, casting and fli
Thanks for all the input guys. And especially to the Coochster. I'm gonna order some Wadda's from the Hook's website and use them for my tourny next month and give yall my feedback. Another question tho, how come the Hook doesn't have the Bobby D's available on the website? How can a get my hands on...

Re: I'm lookin for a good jig for the delta, casting and fli
I did a little research after posting this topic. Anybody ever heard of Conquistador Tackle out of Arizona? I saw that they make nice lookin jigs with that Arkie head. But I'm probably gonna stay local and order some Wadda's from the Hook and give Cooch a little more gas money. But if anyone wants t...

Fishin my 1st club tourney last weekend I broke off 3 jigs in the rocks in about 12 casts. I was using a 3/4oz Revenge football head with a hula grub, my favorite for lakes, but evidently not for the river. Any suggestions?

COULDN'T BELIEVE MY EYES WHEN I SAW THE FISH COOCH CAUGHT IN THAT TOURNEY. MY CLUB HAD OUR TOURNEY THE SAME DAY AND BETWEEN 22+ GUYS WE DIDN'T EVEN HAVE 2 LIMITS. I THOUGHT AFTER LISTENING TO COOCH'S HOUR LONG SEMINAR AT THE ISE SAN MATEO SHOW THAT SOME OF HIS MOJO WOULD SPRINKLE DOWN ON ME.

Thinkin about either the: Daiwa Megaforce- $59.99 Quantum Code- $84.95 Abu Garcia REVO-$149.99 I always been a Daiwa guy but I just don't have the extra $250 layin around to get the Zillion and I'm just not all that confident in the Megaforce's mechanics. Hey Kevin, I'm new on here and that pic is a great welcome to the forum for me. I'm going to be upgrading all of my clearance rack rods to Dobyns rods this spring, looks like I'm making the right move. Can't wait to submit some of my own pics to Gary's photo of the month contest.

I'm trying to get in touch with Bassbones...
Does he have a new username or something? I met him at Circuit City in Hayward one day a long time ago and I just wanted to touch bases with him since I finally got on this thing. Thanks.
