I plan on going fishing in the next week. I would like to know what kind of gear I should use for bass and Stripers. This time of year I usuall use Spinner baits and and top water lures. What are you suggetions.

What is the term called: At the point at which the to bit will break is called............ what.

Thanks a lot. I will give them a call tomorrow. I have nothing but St. Croix. I love the rods. I think they are the best out there. I will not switch to another rod. I got rid of all my other rods. I own about 5 St. Croix rods now. Thanks again for your help.

Great job! Where did this happen? I hope they come max punishment too.

I have a 7 FT ST Croix Premier rod. The butt of the pole broke about 4 inches from the bottom. If I cut the part that is broken and it is not cracked anymore. Will my rod still be good. Let me know if you can help me out. Thank you

I agree with Couch. If you want to fish for stripers, throw 3/4 oz. rattle traps and 3/4 oz hair raisers along the moss beds. This time of year I am throwig Super Spoks in Franks Track and Big Break. Need better weather. Good Luck. If you are interested in a boat let me know. I have one for sale.
