Any recomendations for pre-loaded maps for a Lowrance LMX17? Are they a lot better than Map Create? What are the best features?

Get advice from a good tech then buy the parts and do the job yourself. More times than not the problem is in the switch and that's a piece of cake to replace. Don't be scared. It's not that tough. Still looking for help. Has anyone fished these baits? Are they a topwater bait? Will they run deep wothout weighting them? I'll be throwing them for smallmouth. Has anyone had any success with throwing swimbaits for smallmouth?

The Rosebud arm is going good. Don't be afraid to throw deep. From the State Park to the North throw swimbaits. My bet is that you'll get a big bite. The docks around Konocti will be full of fish. This lake is full of fish. 4 hours of fishing should put you in the zone.

I caught some spotted nbass at shasta. My partner and I took 5 small fish to my partners dad to eat. When we cleaned them we found there bellys full of what looked like sticks and twigs. Shasta Swimbaits
Does anybody know what kind of swimbaits the guys in the Stren Series Tourny at Shasts were throwing this weekend? I'm just getting into swimbaits and with the cost of them I would like to buy what's working. Let me know your favorites. Thanks
